We just accepted an over asking price offer on our current house and they want our washer (Speed Queen 2013 so non water saving model) and dryer (Electrolux 2012). For the price they offered it made sense to include it even though DH said he wanted to keep it. So does anyone have the newer model (water saving) Speed Queen washer?

If not if you got a machine with a traditional agitator which model did you get, and are you happy with it?

I will also consider a Speed Queen dryer.

If we have to get a front loader I will get a base model front loader Electrolux set as we have been happy with the base model dryer.

Congrats on the offer!! My parents purchased a Speed Queen set in 2019 with a traditional agitator and non water saving option. No problems to date!

Thanks! I went on their website and found the Classic option, which looks to be the original option, but they are special edition models so no idea if they are still available (as one appliance store reviewer stated in their review). The newer models from 2019 also seem to be getting better reviews as they added more wash options than the initial 2018 model had, but if I can still find the classic model we will go with that.
