Dress me for a wedding!

This is a huge step for us irt covid, but a childhood friend of Dd is getting married! I’m close to her mom, also. Ceremony is indoors so we will go masked or maybe miss it :( but the reception is outdoors in the fall. it’s a late afternoon/early evening event in a potentially chilly place on the CA coast. I’ve never been to an outdoor wedding like this (where weather is a big factor) and need help dressing for it!

I think I wear a 4 petite or 6 petite and can hardly find anything on Nordstrom or Nordstrom rack!
If it’s chilly, I guess I should wear long sleeves. It might be awkward to wear a shawl the whole time.

Any ideas?

Can you describe the venue or suspected dress anymore? Like do you think cocktail style is going to be most appropriate or will people be a lot more casual?
