Bumping!

Ramping up on cardio in anticipation of ski season, woohoo! My 40s are seeming to be unkind to my feet, so backing off on running and doing more biking. Doing a lot of Peloton Power Zone rides as I like that structure.
Mon: 45 min
Tues: 30 min
Wed: 45 min
Thurs: rest
Fri: 30 min

About to join a live 60 min ride in about 30 min. Posting it here so I don't get lazy and fix another cup of coffee instead ;)

Finally did something yesterday- ran 2 miles then a weight workout that I’m totally feeling now. Chest and arms… will make all of our leaf raking extra fun later!

yesterday i completed the Fall Fit challenge for Pure Barre - 30 classes in 60 days. I made it just in time (Nov 5th was the deadline). LOL. It sounds totally easy and doable (just every other day), but it was really hard for me...there were several weeks in past couple months i was working 50-60 hr weeks and didn't have time to go during the week. i have been going back into the office also for some time. Going back to exercise in-person is a lot more time-consuming and requires more planning, but it was great to see people in-person again!

i have neglected the peloton during that time so i'm hoping to get back to that. I feel way more toned from doing Pure Barre so regularly (abs and arms) but i really need to do some cardio to keep the lbs from creeping up, especially as holidays approaching!

No....I did the challenge once but didn't really like the social media aspect of it and since I don't have the actual bike I didn't find the other features to be that helpful. So what I do instead is just download the PDFs from the Power Zone Pack website and do them on my own. I don't have any desire to do the actual FTP test so every time I make it through a challenge I bump up my FTP a few points. But I really appreciate that it's out there and helpful in making blocks of increasing intensity!

Anyway, did the 45 min PZ live ride this AM. Plus 2 sets of mini leg blasters and some bench presses. If the weather keeps up being cold maybe we can head up to ski by Thanksgiving weekend.

45 min PZ ride Monday
1 hr PZ ride today

3 sets mini leg blasters, some bench and some inverted rows.

Wed/Thurs/Fri my busier/earlier days so is always a challenge for me to get exercise done. But hopefully I'll be up early and do SOMETHING even if it's not as much as I would want to do if I had more time.
