I have a tall, skinny 13 year old boy (5’9 110 lbs). I can’t find athletic pants that are long enough and slim enough in the waist to fit him. Where do you find ones that are long enough but won’t fall down?

Same issue here. I found the youth L Under Armor joggers at Kohls work ok. The Adidas pants with cuffs in YXL also seem to work (the cuffs add a couple of inches). I would welcome other suggestions!

If you could see all the pants in my house right now …

My slightly heavier but same height 13 year old is still wearing adidas tiro pants that were popular in the past. They just fit him best. For size comparisons, check out adidas men’s small and medium.

Maybe look for joggers. The cuffed elastic bottoms will help with length issues.

Another thought is looking for women’s tall sizes…many aren’t obviously gender-specific.

I'm in the same boat but my 12 year old is about 5'7" and only 95#. All (very skinny) legs. We stick with jogger style mostly but even that is tough to find that fit right.
I did find some GapTeen jeans that looked promising- they're intended to be very long and bunch up at the bottom. So I bought based on his waist size figuring the extra material at the bottom would make up for the length. Only sort of successful- there is no bunching at the bottom and they are in fact a bit longer than anything else we've found but they're still a teensy bit too short on him. [emoji849]
As if adolescence isn't awkward enough, we are constantly struggling to find pants that fit him and are comfortable.

Mine is the same height but about 10 lbs up (which is still super skinny). It probably depends on his inseam. Mine is at 33-34" (long legs). I've bit the bullet and gotten him longer length Lululemon pants. Abercrombie also has long length but you really have to watch for them to come available in XS. Nike also tends to run a little longer/slimmer in some styles than other athletic brands IME.
