I am overwhelmed by the options. This is one of the two Christmas gifts that almost 13 DS has asked for. Suggestions? I don't want to pay more than $50. TIA.

Anker Soundcore Life Dot 2 True Wireless Headphones |100 Hour Playtime | 8mm Drivers | Black

These are the ones my whole family has. I’ve had them the longest and use them every day while working.

Ooh. Can you tell me if they are comfortable in your ear? I have cheaper (but not much!) JLabs and while they totally WORK they don't a. sound great and b. they injure my ears. Like it isn't hurting my ears but I get (and this is gross) sores inside my ears if I wear them repeatedly.

I would sure love to buy a bunch and see which ones actually FIT and then be able to return them!

My DD and DS1 both have different JLAB wireless earbuds that they are happy with.

I have JLAB Wireless with ear hooks and I think I paid $65 for them at Target. I am happy with them.

The Anker buds don’t bother me at all. 12 year old DS has a slightly different version of them and he uses them all the time too. I do not exercise in them, but so think they would be fine for that too. I’ve been very happy with them, especially the battery life, and the price is right.

Thanks! My mom actually gave DS AirPods Pro last Christmas and he lost one in April. They never fit his ears well, no matter which size insert he used. I was looking at Beats because they have hooks and I wasn’t sure about the quality of any that cost less.

These stay in my ears. I tried the Beats ones that go around your neck (I felt like I was going to need something more to keep them in my ears) and I hated that so I was happy to find this reasonably priced option.

I can’t stand the way airpods fit but my Dh and DD1 love them.

They are $44 at Target. I have considered wireless earphones for work (I work from home and have phone calls and Zoom or MS Team meetings daily). It would be nice to be able to move around while listening or chatting on a call rather than be plugged into my laptop. And I wear glasses and wearing my Logitech headset for long periods causes my ears to hurt because they pin the ear piece between my ear and head. Do these have a good microphone? And will people hear background noise through that?

Two years ago my mom got me Tozo 6 (i think it's 6) wireless earbuds. She just randomly chose something on amazon that had lots of good reviews. I use them nearly every day when i walk. THey work great and are comfortable. I charge them about once a week. They're not noise cancelling but that's never bothered me.
They look like these (i don't know if mine are waterproof). Looks like the brand has lots of different model/style options.

If you are talking about the JLabs one I have only used them for working out. If they have a microphone I have never tried to use it.
