Posted here for traffic!

Dd2 has been wearing classic Hanna underwear for years and still can wear a size XL (she never cared for the hipster style) however now that she has a mild interest in wearing jeans again ( Universal Threads Vintage Slim Straight jeans in a size 0 (https://www.target.com/p/women-s-vintage-straight-cropped-jeans-universal-thread/-/A-81648965?preselect=80442003#lnk=sametab)….these are just below the ankle for petite sizes….DD2 is about 5’2” and they look like normal length jeans on her) and some of her school uniform skirts ( Dennis Uniform tab skort (https://www.dennisuniform.com/products/basics-035210961-double-tab-pleat-skort-khaki-all-1)) she is complaining of wedgies from pretty much any pair of underwear I buy for her try (most recently Hanes kids all cotton, a few random Auden pairs in different bikini styles). Part of me thinks this just her issues with fabric, but it is irritating because I can’t seem to find something that works. She does likes the Auden bikini underwear ( women’s XS from Target (https://www.target.com/p/women-s-cotton-bikini-underwear-auden-153/-/A-54046733?preselect=53914470#lnk=sametab)) okay but even then is complaining about wedgies when she wears them with jeans. There has to be an east to find solution out there.

My DD is a little older than your DD2 and she's also got sensory issues when it comes to undies. She wears the Calvin Klein 3-pack from Costco (https://www.costco.com/calvin-klein-ladies-breeze-hipster%2c-3-pack.product.100693094.html) in a women's S and Fruit of the Loom microfiber Hipster style (https://www.target.com/p/fruit-of-the-loom-women-39-s-seamless-hipster-underwear-6pk-colors-may-vary-size-9/-/A-52116856) in a size 6.

I take her body measurements every few months so we can use size charts in the stores or online to get something that fits.

She hasn't complained about wedgies or itchy fabric, so we may be sticking with these for a while.

Yes to this.

My 9 year old is teeny, so still very much in girls but loves the fruit of the loom boy short style.

My DD wears the cat and jack boy shorts : https://www.target.com/p/girls-10pk-cotton-underwear-cat-jack/-/A-79382508?preselect=77574878#lnk=sametab Unfortunately this is the only set of prints they’ve had for a while.

Hanna unders also fell out of favor here due to them being too high-waisted and also “too thick”. Mine really like the girls Old Navy hipsters, we get them in L and are close to needing XL now for my 5’2” DD2 who is slim but has hips now.
