Please recommend toys similar to Lego Duplo for a 2 YO. Nothing with sharp corners or small pieces, please. Most of the toys I see are for 3+. Tried one set from Haba and didn't think it was age appropriate. Are Magna Tiles and Magformers safe for a 2 YO? Anything similar to that? Thank you.
Bristle blocks?
Magnatiles and magformers are perfect for a 2 year old. At 2 magnatiles would probably be better. Bristle blocks are also good. You can also get giant megablocks (like huge duplos)

You will see tons of toys that are actually really good for two year old s, marked as three plus. It's something about the testing and labeling requirements, more so then what is developmentally appropriate.
I agree with Magformers or magnetiles. Great for a two year old and my 8 year old still enjoys them on occasion, so will be used for a long time.
Tegu blocks would also be good.
