only thing i could find was the Kidco Elongate w/ a few extensions added. Not my favorite gate, but all i could find for a wide opening.

I just started looking for one today myself. I just came across this one at "onestepahead.com":

However, I'd prefer not to buy it online or I'd at least like to be able to check it out in person.

Or....better yet - if anyone out there has used this product, please let us know how it's working/worked out.

We've got that and it works very well. We only have the basic model with no extra extentions, but we do like it.
