I lost an outfit of DD's once. It was in a bag in the bottom of the stroller. She changed out of it after field day in 1st grade and I stashed it there. But, DS2 was almost 5 and rarely used the stroller ever, so I didn't find it for months.

I just went through this. I lost DS1’s favorite shirt. Turned up 3 months later in the bottom of a laundry basket I thought was empty and had put in storage.
I was fixing the cushions on the couch yesterday and found a pair of DH's shorts. I have no idea how they got wedged back there! Hope you found yours.
I lost a fav shirt once. It ended up being tangled up with a blanket that I'd put in the cedar chest....

I tore the house apart before crazy hat day once. That hat is just gone. For all I know it didn't even make it home the day we bought it at an amusement park. I really expected it to turn up sometime but nope. It baffled me that something so ugly, big and colorful could disappear.
