Active Indoor Play
Hello All -- I have a couple of very active kids -- b/g twins who will be 4 in Sept. and I am going to go crazy unless I figure out an alternative to their jumping from one piece of furntiture to another -- they are nonstop. And this is after I take them to the playground! I am thinking of some piece of climbing equipment or bean bag or something they can jump/climb/burn off steam with in the apt that is relatively safe. I saw these interlocking foam shapes at the Science Fair last week at Washington Square park but can't seem to find anything like it on line. I am also considering some kind of contraption for the doorway. Anybody with any solutions/experience with this? Much appreciated.

:waving4:Hi, operamerc1, I just want to suggest that you post this in the baby bargains forum instead--this one just doesn't get the traffic, because all the toddler moms (including this one!) are hanging out there. I'll post a link in a bit.
Here's a link. http://windsorpeak.com/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=11
Come on over, it's much more lively.

I agree with what Larig says about posting your question to the other forum.
I have 4 year old b/g twins too, and was in a similar position of need a few months ago. I got this bouncer: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0015INF3K
We were having a lot of jumping on furniture, which has gotten better since we got the jumper. The main drawback are that the kids can only jump one at a time. But they burn a lot of energy off of that.
We also got these "river stones" - not a jumpy thing, but still active and safe indoors: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000ANIVRG
