Disney for the New Year

I am breaking my own rule, and I just booked free rooms (on points) at the Swan at Disney for December 28th - January 2nd, even though I said we would NEVER travel during that week again. So here we are going with another family and 4 teenagers to Disney for the holiday. Has anyone ever been to Disney for New Years Eve and if so can you recommend anything special we can do. This whole vacation was booked on points so if you know of something but it pricey that is OK. We are not telling the kids we are going until Christmas, so we can include any splurges as their gifts!
