Winter boots for wide feet

Hello:

Can anyone give thoughts on where I could find winter/snow boots for my 3 year old daughter who has wide feet? The last few years I've settled for regular width boots, which have either been difficult to get on her, or never fit correctly.

I shop a bunch at Stride Rite, but they don't sell snow boots...just dress/fashion boots. I'd like to know if you have any suggestions on which brands run wide. She's still at the age where she's not consistent in answering questions on whether footwear fits correctly...until after a blister has already formed.

I'd be willing to buy a nice pair that will last, as 2nd daughter is also shaping up to have a wide foot...but no laces, and must be easy on/off for a child.

Stride Rite does sell snow boots. I guess they aren't available yet. We got some last year in wide, and they were great!
