Automatic soap dispensers

I saw a coule of Simplehuman automatic soap dispensers while shopping recently so I told DH I wanted one for Christmas. He got me this one:

Does anyone have this one and if so WDYT? Or do you have another of any brand, does it work well, etc.? I think this would work better for kids:

And I like the look of it better, so I will probably exchange for this but would love some feedback from anyone who has something like this. I am planning to put dish soap in it for washing dishes and hands at the kitchen sink.
