If I get the QuickZip sheets, along with the Naturepedic mattress, which is waterproof, do I need to get the waterproof mattress pad or anything else to go in there?

i use a mattress pad and i also use one of the flannel mattress toppers
i use the pad b/c it just is habit, perhaps? i like having the soft quilted fabric and knowing the mattress is extra protected
i use the flannel topper b/c when there is an accident, i just zip off the top sheet, pull off and replace the flannel topper and then put on a new sheet topper
