ISO auto-mirror for sedan w/out adjustable headrests
DS is rear-facing and will be for quite some time. I'd like to be able to see him (now that he's out of his infant carseat that had a canopy covering his face), but I haven't been able to find a mirror that is compatible with my car. We have a Honda Accord that has non-adjustable headrests in the back for the outboard positions. The headrests are more like bumps - there is no space or crevice in which to attach a mirror. We've tried a couple of different mirrors, but so far nothing has worked. The people at BRU were absolutely NO help. I know that not everyone out there drives a minivan or SUV so someone *has* to have solved this problem.
Any suggestions? TIA!

Have you seen or tried this one?

It fits over the "bump" as opposed to having straps that go around the headrest. This was the one I initially had (from The Right Start, but I think I've seen it at BRU too) But I do have to say that I couldn't get it to work in my car, which at the time was a Honda Civic. Then again I didn't want to use the velcro attachments that came with it because I knew I'd be trading in the car soon. It might be worth trying (just keep your box/receipt in case it doesn't work). The nice thing about this one was you can put it on the side and angle it toward the baby instead of having it directly over the baby as most of them need to be placed.
There is also this one which claims to fit most cars...hard to tell exactly how it attaches though:

I bought this one http://www.estyle.com/common/dProduc...S/AQglFQqR2LXQ and it works great. I have it hanging over the seat next to the baby who is in the center and since the mirror is not flat you can see the baby through your rear view mirror. Love it!

Had a similar problem in my SUV since I do not have a head rest in the center where my son sits. So I purchased the Easy View The ultimate back seat mirror from Sunshine Kids Juvenille Products www.skjp.com should solve your problem as well.
