Help with winter coat

DD is 2 and outgrowing her GAP warmest puff jacket. So I saw this Pacific Trail Puffer Jacket at Zulily.com and it's on sale for $14.99 to $21.49 (with limited sizes of course). I know it's really cheap for winter coats, but I don't want to purchase it just because of the price because we live up north and winter is really cold!

So, here I am looking for cute winter coat for DD and wondering if anyone has any experience with the above brands before or any other recommendations are welcome. I know patagonia is a nice one, but the price is kinda high for us. TIA!

we've had 2 of them and they are great

We like the LE's Squall and associated bib if have a ton of inclement weather in your area. There are a lot of 30-50% off sales right now and worth it. Hanna is doing up to 50% off and an additional 15% off in certain stores. Great quality though prints may not always be in your taste.

I tend to buy clothes for the following year after the season ends, saving you a bundle, given DS or DD may only wear it for so long. Certain brands allow for growth so you can extend wear of that item (such as LE or Boden) so great to know also.
