    Test from Snapfish-

From Snapfish- open the picture you want to share, right click on the pic and choose "Copy Image URL" from the menu. Select the Insert Image Icon and paste the link in the dialog box.

Do you see the correct pic in your post now? If so, what you need to do is log in to your Snapfish account and pull up the photo you want to post. Right-click on the photo and go to Properties. Copy the entire document name. It will start out like this and then be followed by gibberish: http://images1.snapfish.com/232323232%.......

That is what you'll put as the link when clicking on the

    button. HTH!

I use PictureTrail for images I'm going to be posting to forums, and it's free, quick and easy. It provides the URL in various formats automatically when you upload the picture so that you can just copy and paste.

Here are the current instructions for posting pics to the forum from Flickr:

    1. Click on your photo in Flickr to open it.
    2. Click on the small arrow next to SHARE THIS - top left of the photo.
    3. Select "Grab the HTML/BBCode"
    4. Select BBCode (not HTML, which is default)
    5. Select the size of photo you want from the drop down box, eg. small, thumbnail
    6. Copy the code that appears in the box. Make sure you have caught all of it!
    7. Paste this code directly into your forum post - do not use the Mountain button for this.

That picture didn't show up last night when I was doing the trial. Maybe something at Snapfish was delaying it. I have a love/hate relationship with snapfish.

Just a FYI warning, when I did it exactly this way in Flickr, the picture was clickable in the thread (there is a hand over the picture instead of an arrow) and linked back to my Flickr account with my real name. I had to re-do everything in a Picasa account under my BBB name. I ended up copying the URL in Link to Photo but select "Image only, no link" and use the mountain button.

Still not sure why it ended up being a clickable link in Flickr.
