Default My PSA of the day...Update

Well I've finally got an answer to ONE of my ailments! Who knows, maybe it's somehow connected to everything else, too. I had an abdominal ultrasound and stomach emptying study done last week. This morning I had an endoscopy done (felt like the best nap EVER!). Turns out I have some sort of virus that is keeping my stomach from emptying. I guess it won't break down the fat I eat so if I eat too much fat I get full and then have pain and discomfort. So now I'm on a restricted fat diet until it hopefully passes. Sounds like a good diet except that I'm now 10 pounds underweight and really need to gain some back. Oh well, I guess I'll just enjoy it while I can. I'm sure as soon as everything is back in working order I'll put them all back on, plus more!!!

Hmmm...what is the official name of "Having two kids back to back took a toll on your body" virus?!?!

************************************************** ********"Having two kids in 16 months takes a huge toll on your body."

Okay, okay, I get it!!!! Sheesh, if I have one more doctor (and I've seen a bunch of them!) tell me that having back to back pregnancies is the reason I'm all out of whack, I'm going to scream! Just figure out what's wrong with me and how to fix it! Stop throwing prescriptions at me to see if they work. I don't think having two kids in such a short time is a disease or diagnosis!

I feel like I need to start wearing a sign that says, "Yes, my kids are 16 months apart. That's why I feel/look/act the way I do. Just ignore me and it will get better."

    Grrrr.....

I feel your pain. I have been there, and then I had my 3 in three years. Hopefully some day I will be close to ressembling myself.

(((((Hugs!))))) I hope you feel better soon.
Would it help to smack the doctors with a wet noodle (or sledgehammer)whenever they say something asinine?

I've been trying to come up with a clever comeback, but not totally snotty or rude. You're creative, got anything good? (besides causing bodily harm? although the wet noodle wouldn't cause damage, but would be pretty gross to carry in my purse or diaper bag!)

So does being stupid and saying things before thinking about how they sound.

Seriously? You guys should have a warning label or something for this.

If I give the kids back, will my body go back to normal?

Why don't you take care of the kids for a couple of hours so I can go get a massage or something?

It's a good thing the kids are cute. If they weren't, I'd be REALLY pissed.

Really? 'Cause some other doctor told me that having two babies in 16 months would give me a really great glow, fabulous skin and shiney hair... that's the REAL reason I did this...

Liz, that's too funny. And J, that is crazy! I seriously doubt that you are the only person that has kids 16 months apart, in fact I know some that are 11 months apart, so yeah, they need to find another excuse. But don't get me started on doctors today.
