Default Digital Camera for 5 yr old, $50?

My DS will be 5 this month. He LOVES using my camera. But I'm not comfortable at all for him to use it much because of the price tag.
This is what I'm looking for:
    1. around $50
    2. good construction
    3. easy to use
    4. fairly good quality of pictures

That's a lot to ask of a $50 camera,I know. I'd love suggestions and to know what any of you are using.

    Thanks!

    Default fisher price

My son has the fisher price camera and my daughter will be getting one this year. We like it. I usually see these selling for around 60, but Walmart has them for less than 50 a couple weeks ago.

DS (4 1/2) loves his Fisher Price camera. They will go on sale periodically at Walmart and other places. We got ours at BJs right before Christmas (It was $59.99 but they threw in a free flash card).

    Default FP Camera

I've heard the FP camera takes pics that are only .3MP and often come out blurry, and the viewfinder doesn't accurately frame pictures. If it's really important to you that the quality of picture be good, then you may want to try the Nickelodeon Spongebob camera instead.

Or, just buy an inexpensive digital camera that's not designed for children, teach your child how to use it carefully, and enjoy!

    Or, go with disposable cameras!

I really like the v-tech children's digital camera. I played around with it at TRU around christmas time and was so impressed with it. The FP one's picture quality is really horrible. My friend got one for her son last yr and excitedly showed it to me, and I thought that it was waaaay over-priced for a blurry little picture the size of a large postage stamp!

V-Tech Kidizoom camera. Durable and inexpensive. Here's a review.
