    Default Fettucine Sauce?

My aunt made fresh fettucine for Christmas, and I still have some left, uncooked. I am thinking about making it for New Year's Eve, but would like a really good sauce to go with it -- something other than Alfredo. Does anyone have any good recipes for Fettucine? Thanks!

How about a marsala? You could serve chicken marsala over noodles.

Or something vegetarian like this one:

Olive oil, black pepper, basil leaves and fresh baby tomatoes.... Toss to taste with a little salt. Yummy!

    Default Family Sauce

Giving away the big secret... I never had jarred sauce until college. My brother and I still insist on this, and now the kids do.

1lb browned ground chuck (or turkey)
    2 big cans tomato sauce
2 big cans tomatos petite diced
    2 big cans tomato puree
    1 T dried basil
    1 t sugar

Mix all together, bring to a boil then simmer for 1-2 hours.
