Default Bebe Sounds Angelcare movement sensor/sound monitor

I've been using the angelcare monitor for the last 4 months and love it but I get false alarms all the time when my baby scoots to the edge of her mattress. Does anyone else have this problem and if so how did you correct this? I called the company and they sent me a new one but it has the same problem. If no one out there has used this one, which other movement sensor monitors are good ones?

That happened to us a bunch too. My son used to roll up on his side against the crib rail. It's not a problem with the monitor, it's a problem with the baby getting off the sensor. You either need to get used to it or use a different (non-sensor) monitor).

hi - - we placed the sensor pad in center towards edge where my DD rolls to - and have only had a couple of false alarms since we moved it - try experimenting with location placement of sensor pad - I also used when we trave in pack and play on a board
