Default Mattress Fit - Moonlight Slumber

We recently purchased a mattress by Moonlight Slumber. After a great deal of research, and having read a lot of great reviews on the product, I knew this was the mattress I wanted. We brought it home, only to find that there seems to be too much space along the sides of the crib we have (DaVinci Emily). After measuring the mattress, it appears that it is only 26" wide, whereas the mattress that comes with the DaVinci Emily crib is 27.5" wide. Does this sound like too much space to all of you? Has anyone else run into this problem with this crib and/or mattress?

Thanks very much for your help!!

Mine is so snug in both of my kids cribs. We have a Forever Mine drop side crib for Tyler and a Simplicity Ellis 4 in 1 crib for Jaci. It is a little tighter in Jaci's crib but Tyler's is still extremely snug. Call Terri at Moonlight Slumber and see what she says. She has always been super helpful when have ordered anything. Their customer service is AWESOME so they should be able to help you figure out what is going on.

    Hi Jackie,

When I bought my Moonlight Slumber, it seemed too small for my crib. I think it was an issue with my crib (a Stanley Serenity), because another brand of mattress also seemed too small. There was more than a 2 finger width gap alongside the mattress in the crib, and it didn't seem safe to me.

I called Moonlight Slumber, and Terri was fantastic about it. She custom made a new mattress that fit my crib perfectly, for no additional charge. It was the best customer service I've had with any company in a long time. My son is 7 months old now, and I'm still happy with the Moonlight Slumber mattress.

My advice is to go ahead and call Moonlight Slumber.

    Angie
