Default Summer babies and flannel sheets?

Hi - My baby is due in July and I was planning on using regular cotton sheets because it is summer. Does that make sense? There are lots of sales on flannel sheets right now, but I guess I thought they would be too warm on the babies back. I can't sleep on/in flannel sheets b/c I get too hot, so I applied that to the baby (we do have central AC, but I figure the baby will be swaddled for the first month or so). But, now I'm wondering if that's logical or if it really matters?

Experienced summer-baby mothers or anyone for that matter, what do you think?

    Thx -

Default RE: Summer babies and flannel sheets?

My son was born in March 2001, and all we have is flannel sheets for the crib. He never seemed to mind.
