    Default Source for Seuss?

My wife and I are pulling our hair out trying to find Dr. Seuss paraphernalia for our daughter's nursery.

She's not due until July but that gives me scant time to find a source and do the room up right.

Any know where I can find stuff?

A quick search brought up these for accessories:

And here are some pictures of what someone else did:

Some other things you might try are tracing characters from your favorite Dr. Suess books, blowing them up on a copier if you have to, and transfering them to the wall (using carbon paper--do they still make that stuff?--or rubbing the back with a pencil and then tracing onto the wall, then go over them with pencil again on the wall), then paint "color" them in with acrylic paints from your local craft store. I've just done this in my son's room with some Boynton characters that I traced from a scrap of wallpaper. I still have to outline them with a black paintpen or something. Or you could put them on transperancies, if you can get your hands on an overhead projector, and project the image on the wall and outline it in pencil and fill in.

And on "Room by Room" on HGTV they once displayed books face-out (so you can see the covers) on a shelf placed over the window. But you could try putting a shelf/ledge a little lower in the room.

Good luck and congrats! I'd love to know what you come up with!

I know Hallmark carries the cute bookends and some other statues. Also try ebay!

You can rent the projector at most local libraries for a modest fee. It's really easy to do, you definitely do not have to be an "artist"

    Good luck ;)

Thanks so much for all your help. I appreciate the advice.
I'll try out the projections and see how it goes.

    Will report back here.
