Hi everyone,
I'm very new at this so I'd love some advice. I found a bedding set which I love but the bumper comes with only the top ties. In your experience, has this been a problem? Is baby more likely to get fingers stuck or have any other problems? It's suggested to get ties on both top and bottom but I'm just trying to assess how much of a problem this really is.

I personally wouldn't want top-only ties. But if you love the set, you can always sew on bottom ties.

Yes, just sew on extra ties. You can use piping from fabric store. Also, you might want to check the posts about not using bumper pad at all. I think many docs are now recommending against them altogether.
