Default How does a bumper work with a solid-style crib?

How do you attach a bumper to a solid wall of a crib? Here is a photo of the crib, any ideas?

    Hi Jen,

I have some ideas for you although I haven't tried them. First, I would have a special bumper made that would fit the length and heigth of the solid side of your crib. I would use the small eyelet screws (tiny screws with a ring at the top) and put these on the back side at the very top of your crib (hope this makes sense). You could then tie the bumper to these screws...the ties would go over the top of the solid side of your crib and tie the bottom ties to your springs. Of course the bumper would have to be almost as high as your solid side. Another idea is to have a bumper made that would cover the solid side and have the ties go over the end tops and tie to the slats on each end and tie the bottom ties to the springs.

Hope this gives you some ideas. Of course, you could always just use a three-sided bumper. Hope this helps. Nice crib, by the way.

I have the same rug as you...mine is circular. I read at the bottom that you cant use a regular vacuum....how have you or are planning on cleaning it. It is such a light color....DH and I dont wear shoes when we walk on it so we can let DD play on it.
