Personalized Baby Blankets

Good Morning All-

My DH and I are looking for a Monogrammed baby blanket (after the baby is born) w/ our DS's full name, height/weight and time/date of birth. I really want something light blue, with hopefully a moon/star type theme. I did a little search on google but didn't find anything quite like I was looking for.

I was hoping maybe you ladies had some suggestions or experience with certain stores/companies. Now the only problem that may arise is that I can only purchase this blanket online (I live in Italy).

While they don't have a moon/star themed one (they did 10 years ago went I sent one for a gift!), these Land's End ones a cute and last forever. You can monogram several lines, so you can include everything you want on them.

What about finding a blanket you like and sending it in for personalization? I know our own Lizajane does personalizations on either your own blanket or one of hers. www.lizajanebaby.com (I hope thats the right address, just email her!) Perhaps she can do some embroidery too? I know she has blankets on her site, otherwise maybe she can hunt down something special for you since you cant send it. I would suggest the carters fleece blankets. They are thin but super soft...we love our! I do know they also come in light blue and a blue with stars. Hopefully you are able to find what you are looking for. Good luck!

Can't help with the moon/star theme, but we have the lands end fleece blankets and they have been wonderful. Online I think you can only put one line of text, but if you call (or perhaps for you, email, since you're overseas) you can put 2-3 lines of text and specify a thread color. I wanted tone on tone, so I called in and they could not have been more helpful.
