    Default Gymboree buying ahead

Lily weighed 21 lbs at our last appt. (month and a half ago) and is still wearing mostly 12-18 mo. Some things though I have moved her into 18-24, seems like she's in between on some. For next summer do you think she would be in 2T, assuming she's in 18-24 for the fall or would it be better to go with the 3T?

    TIA

Have you looked at the CDC growth charts? I'd suggest doing that, and following her percentiles on the charts, then comparing those to the size charts for Gymboree.

    Debbie -

I was just looking at the CDC charts, as Lori suggested, to figure out DD's size in Hanna and Gymboree for next year (can't justify getting anything else for this summer!). I am assuming Lily is 12 mos., so according to the weight for age chart she should be about 26-27 lbs. at 24 mos. According to those numbers I would go with the 2T. I think the 3T would be to big.

I would give you a link to the charts, but I printed them out and forgot the name of the site.

The Gymboree 3 and 3T things are really long in pants and dresses. But for shorts I might go ahead and buy 3 or 3T for next summer.
