What size socks/shoes does your 6-12 month old baby wear?

I think manufactures just really screw up baby sock sizing, Ben can wear the Hanna 2-4 moc with plenty of room, but the 2-4 hanna sock is getting small and I just got him some 5-7s. I think that they think the socks will strech and fit longer, but in practice that just makes the socks slide off.
