    Default Sara Louise sizing question

Does anyone familiar with buying this brand have any help to offer on sizing? Their info says that their 2Y (year) is equal to 3T and that their 18 month would be the same as 2T. I cannot see these in person, but in general by experience with boutique brands is that they tend to run a bit on the smaller size. My DD weighs about 22 lbs. and is currently wearing 18-24. I was leaning toward the 2Y but am uncertain.

    Thanks!

I've had several of their smocked dresses. I've always thought they run slightly small. No way is an 18 month like a 2T. DD wore an 18 month size for her first birthday when she wore 12-18 in other clothes, and it fit perfectly. I think the 2 year would be fine for a girl who wears 18-24.

I've had several outfits for DS, and they always ran slightly big, except for the neck. I was told by a boutique that the European 3 months is meant for a 3 month old, where the US 3 months is really 0-3 months. I don't think the sizes run quite that different, but most of the Sarah Louise outfits I bought were bigger. Be careful, because most of the outfits are made of a fabric that don't stretch, so there is no give if it is a little small.

Thanks, guys. Sounds like it varies. I bought an
18-month dress for DD, who will be 15 months in the
spring. She's big for her age but has slowed down.
Yesterday was the last day of the sale, and I figure
for $15 it was worth the risk. Good think she's getting
a cousin who lives in Houston and can wear it year round.
