They need to make all of these bigger! There are only five styles that go up tot size 9: Katelyn, Abby, Marek, Elvis and Jayden

And Three styles that go up to size 8: Jack, Tila, and Deja.

Wah! I like some of the other styles. These go up to 6 1/2:Sierra, Erin, Danny, Sam and Oscar. And, these only go up to 6:Sadie, Mika, Qwynn, Kai Kai, Ralph, Devon, and Ellis.

Think if we all emailed them and asked them to make them all up to size 9, they would? :)

So funny, I was actually looking at these online last night. I saw them at a baby boutique over the weekend and thought they were adorable. I had never heard of the brand so I was just looking online to see what places sold this brand. I love those pink sandals!!!

Alyssa, what size did you get? I just found out that they don't use standard sizing. So, these are actually bigger than the size implies. Have you had your child sized at Stride rite? What size is he there compared to these?

But, I'm really confused about size charts in general. What are they measuring? We have preschoolians size 22 and from heel to tow they measure 6 inches, but the chart says 5 inches. They are five inches from heel to the visufit line. So, are the inches supposed to be how long your child's foot is?

So would anybody be interested in a co-op for SKR shoes? I'm talking with a local boutique owner who is excited about the prospects of doing one. Incidentally, she said that a 6 1/2 in SKR is the equivalent of an 8 in Stride Rite, and that SKR is changing their sizing to be more buyer-friendly.

My contact also said that the soles of SKRs are not as stiff as a Baby's First Walker type shoe, but more firm than Robeez, Jack and Lily, etc., and that the soles are made of a soft rubber.

I take back what I said about you being a bad woman. Those aren't that expensive. They are cheaper than Stride-rite, and way cuter.

I think your DH might understand with the whole Kai name thing, but my daughter is named Ellie. Maybe they'll specially name a pair if I ask. They do have a darling pair of red Mary Janes named after my cat. I wonder if my Dh will understand that?
