Default Measuring Toddler Feet????? Any advice?

I am so confused! I measured DD at Payless using the official foot measuring device and she was a size 5! But I can't get her feet into any of the shoes...may be a size six! (She has wide feet!)

Used the Stride-rite e-fitter and she came up a 7 wide

Used the LAnds end e-fitter and she is a 7

So Should I order a 7 from Stride rite?????

She is almost 19 months old and I measured each several times

I really want to order form shoebuy soon.

Order a 7 wide. Shoebuy does free returns and exchanges. :-)

Since one just does not simply walk into Mordor, I say we form a conga line and dance our way in.

I would take her to a reputable shoe store and have her measured. You don't have to buy anything. Stride Rite, Nordstrom are usually good choices.

I bought some shoes at stride rite recently, both boys measured 4 wide, the sales person recommended getting 4.5 W so we will get a little more use out of them.

Maybe try 7.5 W at shoebuy and see if you are happy with what you get, I have sent shoes back no problem, you do have to take them to UPS though. UPS might have done pick-up but we were moving that week and it was just easier on us.

I second Nordstroms...I have quite shamelessly gone there only for a fitting and left with a free balloon for DS too :)

I second Holli's advice. I mismeasured Logan's feet using SR e-fit and only realized it when I took him into the SR outlet.

Thank you! I am thinking the e-fitter is running too big! I am going to get her measured...it is just so far away!!! But I really need her to have shoes that fit! Thaks again everyone!
