    Default Silicone Nipples

I have a bunch of Avent silicone nipples that DD doesn't use anymore. Do you keep these for the next baby or throw them out? I know you would toss latex but what's the deal with silicone?

I'm keeping ours for #2, but I guess they might not survive (Avent recommends replacing them every 3 months, which we never did since we used bottles so rarely). If they don't, I'll toss them then and buy new ones. But if they do survive, we're all set!

I tossed the nips with one hole, since those were used for about 5-6 mths and had probably deteriorated. I will probably toss the rest when he stops taking a bottle because we only bottle feed and do solids at this point, so the nips get a workout. If I were in Lori's position, of not using them regularly, I would definitely try to see if they would keep for the next baby. I guess it depends how much you use them and whether you have relatively new or unused ones by the time your DD is done with them.
