I have to give Vicky credit for this idea but I know she is busy with two little ones so I will get it started. Here is the idea: let's make a thread similar to the comprehensive kitchen thread I started using toys instead. I will create age categories and below each category, post your child's favorite toy(s) at that age. That way we will have one central resource for great toys. What do you ladies think?
ETA - Please change the title of your post to reflect the name of the toy you are endorsing so people can read and respond to individual toys quickly.

This is a great idea! My now 12 month old has really loved the Discover Sounds Kitchen by Little Tikes and the Play Store. I would highly recommend them for sitters and crawlers.

Leap Frog Table
We gave this to Eva at 6 months old and she has played with it almost everyday since and it has been almost a year.

Discovery Toys stacking cups
Hands down! If I had to pick just one toy at this point (12 months), it is these stacking cups. He is very much into the "in/out" concept right now.
