Looks like a HAMSTER BALL...but it's an ICE CREAM MAKER !?!

Just saw this in my June 2006 issue of Parents magazine
and I had to do a double-take.

I was like, What is that?
(I thought it was a hamster ball !! But, it is actually
an ice cream maker!)

The LL Bean website says that all you have to do is shake,
pass, or roll the ball around for 20 minutes and you've
got ice cream! :)

How fun would this be for a softball team or baseball team
to pass this back & forth for 20 minutes to make ice cream? :)


Or play a 20 minute game of Hot Potato with your kids.
Then have some ice cream!! :)

We gave my 4 year old DD one of those for Christmas. They're cute, and fun, but it takes a bit more strength than she has to shake it hard enough to actually make the ice cream. DH and I ended up doing most of it. I can see it working well with older kids, though.
