another eurotub or what do you suggest

We used a Eurotub w/ DS after he grew out of our infant tub but I don't know if I should get another Eurotub for Mia? Mia and Diego will share a bathroom and the Eurotub will take up so much space....but is is such a great tub? What to do? tia!

I used a bath ring for both my DDs after they outgrew their infant tubs. I have to say that I have never had an Eurotub, but the ring worked pretty well for us. It doesn't take much space and kept DDs secure until they were steadier on their own.

I bought the Eurotub for my Mia (8 mo) and although I use it, I wish I bought a different tub. It's just too big and I don't see any benefits that outweigh this fact. Just this weekend I bathed Mia in a regular tub (she is sitting very well unsupported) and she was fine (the bottom of the tub was textured so she didn't slip and slide). If I had to do it all over again, I would have gotten a small infant tub for the months before sitting (like I did with my older two) and just moved on to the regular tub.

I am still using my eurotub at 13 months, and will until DD outgrows it. The larger side is actually still pretty big for DD and she is on the taller side for her age, so I can see us using it for quite a while. I like that I can lay DD back when I need to rinse her hair, and pull it away from the faucet so she can't touch it. Maybe I am paranoid, but I just don't think DD would be ok alone in a big tub, and I don't like the bath seats. Its big, but it just stays in our second bath, which is her bathroom anyway. I think its worth having, even though its bigger than regular baby tubs, its certainly worth it to me.

My DD1 is still taking baths in the Eurotub and she'll be 2 in August. One thing I like about it is that you don't have to put as much water in the Eurotub as you would in a regular bathtub. She seems to enjoy it and isn't cramped at all. She's a bit tall for her age, if that makes a difference.

I'm not sure if you already have the Eurotub but I'll tell you what we did.

DD outgrew it around 9-10 months(preferred to stand). I pulled it out for DS and she wanted to use it again(of course...) It has been *phenomenal* for bathing both the kids together. I thought DS would be cramped but I lay him down on the recline side and put dd on the opposite side with her legs under ds's. It works perfectly and you don't even need tub toys because they're each other's toy. :P They're both contained and safe. I'm not sure I could do a double bath otherwise with DS this little, at least.

When we bathe DD alone, I put the tub in DS's room and replace it when we're done--no biggie.

Actually, if money weren't a limitation, I would probably invest in one of these. They seem like they would actually work AND they take up little space. But I'm not rich enough to take the plunge on something that might work awesomely, or might just be a waste of $$. ;) The reviews I've seen online for it have been positive, but who knows. Supposedly, these things are popular in Europe/overseas, where space is more of a premium in many cases.
