Hi everyone. Does anyone have any thoughts or feedback about this particular train table? Thanks! Susan

Aargh!! well, I can't post a link directly to the table. It's the custom solid oak table with drawer for $294.

Here's a picture of the one you linked to, if that helps:

We don't have a train table yet, but that looks like a nice one. :)

    Looks gorgeous!

One random thing I can think of, and this probably depends on your child, but there could be a temptation to try to stand/sit/climb on that drawer, kwim? Although, it probably depends on the kid and I'm sure you could work around it.

We have this past year's Costco train table, and it has two big trundles underneath it. DS does climb in those sometimes if they are open (not often), but those drawers are low to the ground so it doesn't really cause anything to break, if that makes sense. An elevated one could be a problem if they tried to use it to climb up onto the table or tried to sit on it. But, I'm sure you could teach DC not to do this if it was even an issue.

I love that it is real wood for that price!!

I didn't check the dimensions but you might want to compare it to the Thomas tables etc. to make sure a Thomas figure 8 (or whatever brand you think you'll use most) will fit on it. I've heard of some tables being too narrow to fit the full layout, but the one you linked to looks big so I can't imagine it wouldn't fit.
