I'm never in New Jersey! I live down in Texas.
I will have to bounce vicariously through you!! :)
By the way, what's the deal with the husbands not liking
our ideas?? My husband always looks at me like I'm cuckoo
when I suggest things to him.

I wish I could clone my DH for you all. He thinks all of my ideas are brilliant. ;)
We'd be bouncing along with the kids as long as we didn't weigh too much!
We ended up buying the Little Tykes one (second link) for Billy's birthday party. It is great. We had four 3 year olds and a 2 year old in it with no problems. We anchor it when we are outside because we set it up near a small hill and don't want the kids and house rolling down the hill.
When we set it up in our family room we don't anchor it. It does slide around alot with real crazy jumping but we just slide it back. The fan seems pretty noisy at first when it is set up inside but you get used to it pretty quick.
We use ours probably at least 4-5 times a week. It was definately worth the money.

Maybe we could work out a trade? Kind of like joint custody?
I get him every other weekend and for 2 weeks in the summer. :)

Lori, do you need a really big space for it inside? For instance, do you need high ceilings, etc.?

So does this mean that you do plug it in? How would you use it outside then? Our closest outlet would be in the basement.
Do any of them use batteries instead?
Thanks,
Jessica.
You just need a mega long extension cord.... the motors need too much power for batteries. if you rent one at a park, you have to rent a generator with it...
4 kids at a time is a decent limit... im not sure id want more than that in a full-sized rental, for fear of bonked heads, lol.
yeah, its not as big as a full size, it;s like 12 by 12 and maybe 6-7 feet tall? too tall for my empty dining room unless we ditched the ugly chandalier, fits great in 1.5 of my 3 car garage.

It's about 6 feet tall, it would fit in a regular height room as long as there was nothing hanging from the ceiling where you would put it.

we bought a smaller one for our two boys for Christmas last year and set it up in our living room from time to time during the winter. Our's is 8x8 x6ft tall and is recommended for only 2 children at a time. We LOVE it! THe fan is loud, but not obnoxious - it sounds pretty much like you're running the vacuum. My DH thought I was cuckoo too when I suggested it, but he now thinks I was brilliant! When we're done, we fold it up into a plastic bin and store it in the garage.
