I've been getting babies and toddlers (for B-day gifts) who are into trains the name train:
http://www.bambinomountain.com/nt_letter_trains.html
It's compatible with Thomas/Brio, etc.
I received this as a gift for DD2 and love it:

Finally, I'm eventually going to get around to getting DDs this:

I haven't thoroughly researched the piggy banks yet, but I like the idea (and it's kind of practical :) )

what a bummer thay u didnt get a FULL review :(
Do you know what the clip part looks like. My daughter has the finest hair. She has two really long wisps and DH wants them cut to get them out of her face. I am using really tiny alligator clips right now but panic everytime they are missing wondering if she swallowed them. Just thought you might know what they look like since she has no picture of the back on the website.
Thanks
Here is a picture of the clippy part. I never bought
any of the Giddy Giddy hair clips because of the clip.
They just don't hold enough hair for my 4.5 year old.
Plus, I think they are really tiny. My daughter's head
is huge! She would need a really big hair clip!! :)
(There's more information about them in Reality Layette.)
