I just came across this building toy set in my search for giant tinker toys - remember those way back from the '70s and '80s?? :) Dh and I were reminiscing about tinker toys and how he loved to build cars, boats, etc...with his giant tinker toys.
Anyway...I found this site and it looks really cool. It is expensive though. Any thoughts? I like that it is open-ended, imaginative play. The toobeez are not for climbing on, but the monkeez can hold up to 75lbs. Check out the pictures!

The toobeez look like painted pvc pipe to me. Cool though if you have the money to spend.
I don't think pvc will hold weight, so the monkeez would be more interesting for me (since we happen to have lots of pvc pipe laying around.)
