I missed the boat on Woodland Fantasies as DS was quite young at the time. Are there any similar playsets available? Not particularly interested in Holtzinger, but if it comes to that...I am aware of Ryan House Firehouse heros, and qe do have a handmade barn, but hoping for something less gender-ized. Thanks in advance.

We're giving the Imagiplay farm set to DD1 for Christmas. It looks really cute. I remember searching for info on them on this board and alot of people had positive comments about them.

I have some of all the sets and they are all pretty different. The Woodland Fantasies ones were an awesome deal for what you get but the wooden figures are quite rough. The Imagiplay ones are smooth, painted rubberwood. Ryan's House are posable wood and wire/fabric figures. Holztiger and Ostenheimer are hardwood with intricate carvings and detailing.
DD is getting the firestation for the holidays so I don't think it's particularly genderized. :)

URGENT: There's a couple WF sets on EBAY right now - 1 about to expire
The Deluxe Jungle set has about 1.5 hours left in the auction - at $28 with $20 shipping. There's 3 other sets also on EBAY (just type in Woodland Fantasies). Also, I found the store www.acherishedchildhood.com has sets of WF loose animals/people available at $12 plus Shipping.
