    DD is 3.

    Big Hits:
1- Ryan's Room Home is where the Heart is house and furniture. This house is BIG, much bigger than I thought. We kept out a few pieces of furniture to keep it simple for DD but had no trouble fitting a "full house" worth of furniture (i.e. everyone has a bed, a chair at the kitchen table, etc.) while allowing lots of play space.

2- Costco dress up trunk and Disney Princess shoes.

3- Books - The Very Noisy Night, Bear Snores On, Bear Stays Up for Christmas, Snowmen at Christmas

    Medium Hit:
Hop ball horse (made by the Rody people). It's super cute and DD loves to pull it around with her but she's a little intimidated by hopping on it just yet.

    Mary,

Where did you buy the Hop ball horse? I had something similar when I was little, and loved it!

    Thanks!

    LOL- that might do it!
i really overestimated how much would fit in his room. The KC is in there, but the Lego table is in the living room. I can't cram anything else in there,

We got the first one in the link above - from Hearthsong. It's cute! I had one like it when I was a kid so I hope DD warms up to it some more. :)

(just to be clear... not all these gifts were from us LOL)
    DS is 19 months old

    Hits:

Brio train stuff, especially the mining tunnel

His Angels and Elves kitchen set, plus wooden food, pots and pans, etc. His favorite are the eggs and wooden toaster from A Toy Garden

A metal grocery cart from Target (so cute)

Wooden tractor and hay cart from Fagus (but the farm animals we got to go inside are a "miss")

Penguin slippers from l l bean

    Misses:

I thought he'd like the books with trains I got him more. Ditto the videos I Love Toy Trains and There Goes a Train. He's also not that into the Sesame Street Old School videos, but his parents are!

He is also not very interested in the lovely fair trade musical instruments I got for him.

The Vilac balancing block toy from oompa.

    Knitted finger puppets

Thanks for mentioning the personalized Sesame Street book. My daughter is turning 2 next month and we are planning her 'elmo' birthday party. I think this will be a great gift. I'm glad to hear that you are happy with the quality.
