Default Another idea for DADDY letters...

My sisters and I cut our letters out of white foam board (there are lots of colors). It was cheaper than wooden letters and we could make them larger. I just drew using a pencil and ruler and we cut them out with scissors. They survived through the photoshoots with our 5 kids and we have passed them onto a neighbor... Below (hopefully) is a picture of DD with the A.

Awesome - that's what I'm going to do - looks great!

How did you end up framing them?

I got the 5 opening frame RIBBA from IKEA.

I got the black one, with color pictures. One of my sisters got the brushed metal fnish and turned her photos black and white. Just a note-- the openings are a tad bigger than 4X6-- I cropped mine in Photoshop and added white space to 5x7 and cut down the prints. My sisters both just got 5X7 prints and just centered the image in the opening. Theirs worked because the pictures were taken a little farther back.

They also have a 3 opening frame in the same line. so if you want to just spell DAD or a monogram you can got that too.
