Default Where can I get information on local CPS installation?:

A while back there was a posting that included information on how to find a CPS installer in local areas. Can someone post this again?

    Thanks a lot!

It's on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's website. Here are the direct links.

This is the link for the technician database: http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/people/inju...acts/index.cfm

You can also call the manufacturer who can provide the names of local police officers who have been through intensive car seat safety training and they will install/check for you.

Call your local fire and police depts (non-emergency numbers, of course) and ask if your city or one nearby does installations. Our fire dept has them once a week, and they are very popular.

I am having my Convert. seat installed next week. I got mine through Chrystler's Fit 4 a Kid program. Check out their website at www.fit4akid.org.
