Marathon Racer Fabric

I have read that some fabrics are hotter than others. Can somebody tell me how the racer fabric holds up, and if it makes babies hot, like the plusher fabrics?

We have this in one of our cars. So far we have only used it for the fall & winter, so Im not sure about when its warmer outside..but we havent noticed any problems with it making DS hot.

We have the racer too. I loved the idea of it becuase it is so much easier to clean, IMO. DS does not seem the least bit hit in it. We do hvae tinted windows, so the sun doesn't shine directly on it, but yesterday is was in the 80's here, and even though the car was hot (it's black), the car seat was not at all warm to the touch.
