I was looking for a car seat tote a few months ago and remembering seeing something that just strapped to the outside of the car seat, allowing you to carry it on your back (but with no bag to protect it). Now that I've traveled with my DS twice by plane that seems much easier than taking the car seat in and out of one of the tote bags just to get it from the car to the plane and the plane back out to the car. Does anyone know who makes these, I couldn't find it when I searched again tonight...

Ah. That looks more comfortable, but FWIW, it also works to lengthen the straps all the way and use them as backpack straps. Not something you'd want to do for a long, long walk, but good in a pinch, and free. It also works to lengthen the straps and hang the carseat off the back of a stroller.
