2004 Marathon was manufactured in March of 2005

And I got it for a little cheaper since it's a 2004 model. We got the Arctic Cat pattern which is so soft and pretty. It's sitting in my living room until I install it.

The one thing holding me back from getting it was losing a year of use, but as it turns out I lost nothing.

I don't know how they put them together, but I'm wondering if the cover is just discontinued but the seats which are still being produced get put under the discontinued covers.

I wonder if someone at the Britax factory just found a box of Arctic Cat covers in the stock room and used them up :D (I've been to their assembly plant, it looked like it could happen, hehehe)

I wouldn't doubt that at all! ;)

BabyLove.com had the cowmooflage Britax Roundabouts - which were discontinued a while ago - and I asked them for the manufacture date and they had VERY current dates - like within a month or two of when I asked!

So I'm sure its just the discontinued fabric and the carseat is still good!

I have a 2002 Cowmooflage cover on my late 2004 Roundabout carseat (I got a new one for the smaller base! ;) )
