    Default where should straps lay?

When my child is in his evenflo titan seat and harnessed snugly the straps lay across his thighs. Is This correct? It doesn't seem right to me.

Don't have a titan but we have a Boulevard and that is where the straps lay on DD.

Yeah, as long as it's snug on the shoulders, then the rest of the 'geometry' doesn't matter much. Be aware that is one of the shortest seats on the market, can't rearface very long, and many kids outgrow it even forward facing before age 2, so don't fall in love with it it won't last long :)
