Pali cribs and changing tables

Does anyone have experience with Pali cribs and changing tables. Is a changing table necessary or does anyone have creative alternatives of where to change a baby?

I have both the Pali crib and changing table. I know they are pricey, but they are worth it. Instead of buying the matching dresser, we bought a regular dresser in a furn. store. The changing table is convenient. It has a few drawers and shelves to hold diapers, towels, etc.
