Maclaren Techno XT- this year vs. last year

Hello All-

We are pretty convinced that the Maclaren Techno XT is the right stroller for us and our lifestyle. My dh found last year's model on sale for $100 cheaper than the current stroller.

Does anyone know what the model differences are between the two models? Any advice, tips or experiences on buying last year's model? Seems like a good way to save money....

We bought a 2004 model recently. The only difference I can see, apart from the fabrics, is that the shoulder straps can be moved to a lower level on the 2005, but not on the 2004.
